What Do WTT, PTT, OTT and MTT Refer To? (Meaning)

These are VeEX's product family designations, based on their main test and measurement application fields and/or set of functionalities

The meaning of VeEX's WTT, PTT, OTT and MTT acronyms are based on the main functions or applications that identify instruments and tools family, based on their main application fields and functionality. The term "Toolkit" refers to test sets that combine multiple functions into one (in some cases, these individual functions used to require specific instruments). Here are some examples:

  • MTT - Modular Test Toolkit
  • OTT - Optical Test Toolkit
  • PTT - PON Test Toolkit
  • RxT - The designation for this advanced modular toolkit was not meant to be an acronym, however, it borrows from the medical shorthand term "Rx" to imply Diagnostics Toolkit
  • WTT - Wireless Test Toolkit (e.g., Wi-Fi)
