Why Windows™ Shows a Scan and Fix Error When Inserting a USB Memory Stick from a Test Set into a PC?
Not Necessarily an error. A small compatibility issue between the test set's Linux and Windows OS triggers the PC to request a (preventive) scan.
The test set doesn't damage the USB memory stick or its data. It seems to be a small compatibility issue between the test set's Linux and Windows OS that triggers the PC to request a (preventive) scan. However, at the end it declares "No Errors Found". Although a minor inconvenience, we suggest following the process in the Windows PC, by clicking on the recommended "Scan and Fix". Although the process doesn't take much time, you may also consider ignoring it, by selecting the "Continue without scanning" option.
Then click on "Repair drive"
Click on the "Close" button when Windows confirms that no errors were found or made any repairs.
Now, Windows' File Manager should display the memory stick's content.
