What is VeGrade Digital QAM Quality Assessment?
VeGrade defines a Digital Quality scale for individual QAM, from F to A+. to consistently qualify CATV channels and services.
Covered by US Patent 11,848,789, VeEX's VeGrade™ is a proprietary measurement that evaluates and grades the quality of a single Digital QAM channel. VeGrade combines multiple metrics to evaluate the channel and gives it a Digital Grade from A+ to F. It helps to easily identify those channels impacting service, thereby necessitating further troubleshooting. It serves as a useful tool for evaluating the end users' Quality of Experience (QoE).
The VeGrade feature continuously and rapidly monitors the quality of the Digital Channel and provides a comprehensive metric (VeGrade) which is easily understood by any field technician. This rapid monitoring allows the meter to capture bursty intermittent issues otherwise potentially missed by traditional measurements (MER, BER, Signal levels, etc.).
