The V-FTP Throughput feature allows users to test FTP protocol performance, up to full line rate, to any FTP Server by uploading and downloading large test files.
VeEX's V-FTP feature, part of the stateful Layer4+ test suite, allows users to verify connectivity and measure Ethernet links' Download and Upload data throughputs from/to servers using the File Transfer Protocol (FTP) client-server model. The V-FTP Throughput feature allows users to test links and services' FTP protocol performance, up to their full line rate, to any reachable FTP Server, by uploading and downloading large test files.
This feature can test up to the link's full line rate depending on the server’s specifications and limitations. Connection time to the server, data transfer time, line rate throughput rates, protocol throughput rates and other key performance indicators (KPI) are reported during the tests.
