Why GNSS SkyView Stops After 24 Hours and Shows "Storage is Almost Full" Message?

The SkyView GNSS Antenna Reception Pattern test could be stopping because the MTTplus memory setting may be set to 64MB

The MTTplus SkyView™ GPS/GNSS Antenna Reception Pattern test is a long-term test that records (logs) multiple parameters simultaneously, hence it requires a significant amount of internal storage. When the test set runs out of internal memory, it stops the test, transfers the recordings to the external USB memory stick and deletes the temporary records from its internal memory.

However, the test set should have enough user-allocated storage capacity to run a 72-hour test, with all the real-time recording options enabled.

One reason why the SkyView test could be stopping is because the MTTplus memory setting may be incorrectly set to Internal Memory (64MB).

Go to >Utilities >Settings >Global and change the User Data Storage setting to System USB Stick (2GB)

The selected USB stick is the one permanently attached to the test set (on the top-left USB port, with the red cover) and it is reserved for the MTTplus system. There is no need to insert any new memory stick.

Reboot the test set. The DATA partition in the system's USB memory stick (under the red cap) will be formatted during the bootup process. This may take up to a couple of minutes.

If the MTTplus' User Data Storage was already set to System USB Stick (2GB), it is also possible that other test applications may have left temporary files in the user data partition (Partition 3) and it may be time to clean it up. Go to >Files >Manage. If the User partition seems to be almost full (Used Ratio > 65%), tap on the Format button to clean it up. Since this will clear all user data, it is recommended to upload test results to the cloud (e.g., R-Server, Flow) or transfer to a USB memory stick before formatting the partition.
